About Deborah Cottle

I enjoy working and helping people, I’m a retired teacher and now I help people find and sell houses. My teaching skills are a real asset in keeping organized, on track and explaining the buying and selling process to my clients.

My Background

My dad was in the Army so I had the opportunity to travel and live in many locations including Okinawa, Germany, New Jersey, and Georgia. Since we moved a lot, I found it easy to make new friends and experience new adventures. My mom always said that I never met a stranger! After retiring from the Army, dad relocated us for the last time to Texas since this was his home state. Soon after, I graduate from Bell High School. As an adult I lived in Turkey and visited Greece too.

I attended Tarrant County Junior College earning my Associate of Arts Degree and later graduated from Texas Woman’s University earning my Bachelor’s of Science in Education with a minor in English.

I retired from teaching in 2015 with over 20 years teaching at the elementary level. I taught 4th grade, was the Instructional Technology Specialist at my elementary school and later became the Creative Dramatics Teacher for K-5. I had a very rewarding career teaching children as well as adults.

I love to garden. I also love to travel with my husband and experience the beautiful world God has created.
